My name is Katie. I’m an L2 Qualified Registered Counsellor and a proud member of the Australian Counselling Association, located in Coomera, Gold Coast.
My approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, as well as tracking back to childhood to understand family and multicultural systems and patterns, investigating the core root of presenting issues to assist my clients in understanding themselves better. I emphasise empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard.
I bring over seven years of hands-on experience in the child safety sector, working directly with young people to manage traumatic behaviours and support their healing journeys.

I am a proud mother of four beautiful children. One of my favourite things to do is watch them play sports and seeing how free they are of any burdens, just playing with what’s in front of them.
I am a spiritual person and practise mindfulness every day. I implement tools during my sessions like affirmation cards and trauma code cards to add a bit of authenticity, empowering my clients to step into their own power.
